Beutiful verses in Psalms 56

I love so many chapters and verses in Psalms. Here is just one of the many I love!!

                                 Psalm 56: 1-13

~ 1    Be merciful unto me, O God: for man would swallow me up ; he fighting daily oppresseth me.
~ 2 Mine enemies would daily swallow me up: for they be many that fight against me, O thou most High.

~ 3 What time I am afraid , I will trust in thee.
~ 4 In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust ; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.

~ 5 Every day they wrest my words: all their thoughts are against me for evil.
~ 6 They gather themselves together , they hide themselves, they mark my steps, when they wait for my soul.

~ 7 Shall they escape by iniquity? in thine anger cast down the people, O God.
~  8 Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?

~ 9 When I cry unto thee, then shall mine enemies turn back: this I know ; for God is for me.
~ 10 In God will I praise his word: in the LORD will I praise his word.

~  11 In God have I put my trust : I will not be afraid what man can do unto me.
~  12 Thy vows are upon me, O God: I will render praises unto thee.
~  13 For thou hast delivered my soul from death: wilt not thou deliver my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of the living?

   Beautiful huh!?
What great love and protection is shown from our Heavenly Farther here in these verses!   What wondrous tender care he has for his people!
Oh what an awesome God we serve!!

In HIS Perfect PLAN

 The Master Builder

GOD is THE MASTER BUILDER,
HIS PLANS are perfect and true,
And when HE sends you sorrow
It's a part of HIS PLAN for you.....
For all things work together
To complete THE MASTER PLAN
And GOD up in HIS HEAVEN
Can see what's best for man.
~ Helen Steiner Rice

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God........
           Romans 8: 28

Enfolded in His Love

The LOVE of GOD surrounds us
Like the air we breathe around us__
As near as a heartbeat,
  as close as a prayer,
And whenever we need HIM
   He'll always be there!

~Helen Steiner Rice

I just came across these two very beautiful poems. And so true they are!
God will only give us what is best for us. Even if at times it  may be sorrow.  It is still all  apart of his perfect plan, even when we can not see or understand why. We just have to belive He knows best, and trust completly in Him.

I Know who holds tomorrow......

 I Know who Holds Tomorrow

I don't know about tomorrow,
I just live from day to day.
I don't borrow form it's sunshine,
For it's skies may turn to gray.
I don't worry over the future,
For I know what Jesus said,
And today I will walk beside Him,
For He knows what is ahead.

( Chorus )

Many things about tomorrow,
I don't seem to understand;
But I know who holds tomorrow,
An I know who holds my hand!

Every step is getting brighter,
As the golden stairs I climb;
Every burden's getting lighter;
Every cloud is silver lined.
There the sun is always shining,
There no tear will dim the eye,
At the ending of the rainbow,
Where the mountains touch the sky.

I don't know about tomorrow,
It may bring me poverty;
But the one who feeds the sparrow,
Is the one who stands by me.
And the path that be my portion.
May be through the flame or flood,
But His presence goes before me.
And I'm covered with His blood.
 ~ Ira Stanphill

What a beautiful song! And what a wonderful reminder of God's great love and care for us!
No matter what the 'morrow may hold He has us covered safely under his wings!!  ( Psalms 91:4 )
We may not know what tomorrow will hold, but we know He holds tomorrow come what may, and that is enough!
He holds tomorrow, and He holds my hand!!!  Yay me!!!

Mae

like trees planted by the waters

"Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of the sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful."

"But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night."

"And he should be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth froth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither, and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper."

"The ungodly are not so; but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.

"Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgement , nor sinners in the congeration of the righteous."

"For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous; but the way of the ungodly shall perish."
                                                            Psalms 1:1-6

To me the first chapter of Psalms speaks so much.

It tells us that we will be blessed if we do not walk in the counsel of the ungodly, nor be influenced with sinful ways.

It tells us if we love, obey, and delight  in the law of the Lord, and meditate on it continually; that we will be like trees planted by the rivers, that flourish and grow strong, and prosper.

It tells us that for the  ungodly ( those that do not love, obey and delight in the law)   just the opposite will be true, they will be like chaff that is driven away with the wind.  The ungodly will not stand in the judgement, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous, but will perish away.

It tells us that God knows His children and is with them and takes care of them always.
So very beautiful don't you think!?  I would love to hear your thoughts on this.

As always thanks for visiting here and taking the time to read!

Mae

Fear not for God is with you.

Thou whom I have taken from the ends of the earth,
and called thee from the chief men thereof,
and said on to thee, Thou art my servant;
I have chosen thee, and not cast thee away.

Behold, all they that were incensed against thee
shall be ashamed and confounded:
they shall be as nothing;
and they that strive with thee shall perish.

Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them,
even them that contend with thee:
they that war against thee shall be as nothing ,
and as a thing of nought.

Fear thou not; for I am with thee:
be not dismayed; for I am thy God:
I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee;
yea,I will up hold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

For I the Lord they God will hold thy right hand,
saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.

        Isaiah 10: 9-13

What beautiful words of protection and covering over us from our Heavenly Farther.  What great love and care He has bestowed up on His people.
May we learn to trust and rest in Him always knowing that in Him we have nothing to fear!

A beutiful poem of God's care

Here is a nice little poem I just came across the other evening while reading to the children in their story book.  The title of the book is Safe In His Care, by Lily A. Bear.  There was no title to the poem though.

We left our home so dear to all
In answer to God's call.
  He called us to another land;
We were beneath His caring hand.

How sweet the promise we had claimed,
That God would be the same.
It makes no difference where we'll live:
The same great love, our God will give.

So serve Him faithfully each day,
And live the Bible way.
Then you'll have peace, and want to share
That you are daily in God's care.

Just thought that was very nice, and wanted to share.

How true that is. No matter where you are, or where you go, as long as you're in HIS will, you will always be in safe in HIS care.
God's protecting arms are always around us. We only need to be ready and willing to follow His calling no matter where in the world  that may leads us.

Keep on strong in the Lord and in the truth!!

In Him,
Mae

for the hairs of your head are numbered

"And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do."

"But I will forewarn you whom ye shall hear: Fear Him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you Fear Him."

"Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God?"

"But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are more value than many sparrows"
Luke 12: 4-7

What beautiful words of Jesus!!!

If those above verses do not convince us that God has us completely protected, then I don't what would.
That is enough to convince me!!!

But there is many, many more verses than that in the Bible on God's protection over His people.
OH, how I love and cherish them all!!

I will leave a few more here that you can look up.

1 Peter 3:13

Hebrews 13:6

Psalm 18:1-3

Psalm 27: 1-6

Psalm 33: 18 & 20

Psalm 121

Psalm 139

Psalm 91

May you enjoy theses verses of God's love and protection as I have.

They are beautiful in deed. Not only beautiful , but a promise to those who love and obey Him!

May you rest in God always knowing He has you covered!!

In Him,
Mae

God's Great Protection ( part 1 )

I am at at total awe of God's great protection over His people shown in the Bible. Time and time again we see instances in the the Bible how he protected and kept his people safe in different situations.

We also read many , many, places that promise God's love and protection over us if we love and obey Him. We have totally nothing to worry about if we are one of "His". And we do not need to feel that we have to protect our selves. He is so much more capable of that than we are!!!

I plan to look up several verses on this and share them in a later post.

Here is two that I love that I will share now.

When a man's ways please the Lord, He maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him. Proverbs 16: 7

The angle of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them. Psalms 34: 7

Don't you just love that!!!

Look for, God's Great Protection (part 2) coming soon.
