In my second to last post i talked of my timidness in speaking up on certain issues, but that i was working on being bolder.
Well just recently it has been made even more clear to me of why i need to be bold in God and His truth, because my boldness can give others encouragement.
I have just recently been encouraged my self by someone that was bold in in what they believed.
And again to day as well.
Someone asked me today if I was almost ready for Christmas.
I very carefully as I could, replied that we did not keep Christmas. ( carefully, because i was certain that she did and I did not want to offend)
Well i was shocked at her reply to me.
She says, "Bless you! That is so good. Oh, that is wonderful!"
I couldn't believe it!
I never had someone say that to me before after hearing that I didn't keep Christmas.
Then she when on to say that she did not either, and that she had a good friend that did not as well.
She kept going on and saying why she felt it was that it was not pleasing to God.
Others were around, and i was thinking, "oh no what will the others think."
Yet she kept talking so boldly.
I was so impressed!
It gave me such inspiration.
I was like I want to be like her.
I want to be strong and unafraid of what others may think.
So i hope my boldness is encouraging to others as well.
Go forth and be bold in Christ who gives you strength.
In Him, Mae
